About Kalamunda
From Pickering Brook to Wooroloo
Our Perth Hills electorate of Kalamunda is in square kilometres, the second largest in the metro area! That’s why if I’m elected in March 2025, I’ll continue to have offices in both Mundaring and Kalamunda, like Matthew Hughes MLA.
North of Mandoon (the Helena River), Mundaring is the largest population centre, surrounded by Mount Helena, Sawyers Valley, Chidlow, Wooroloo, Beechina to the east and Stoneville, Parkerville, Hovea, Mahogany Creek, Glen Forrest and Darlington to the west.
South of Mandoon, Kalamunda is the main centre, with the localities of Lesmurdie, Walliston, Carmel, Canning Mills, Pickering Brook, Bickley Paulls Valley, Piesse Brook and Hacketts Gully within our boundary.
At the next election, the suburb of Gooseberry Hill will be in Stephen Price MLA's Forrestfield electorate.
Karen Beale acknowledges the traditional custodians of country throughout Australia and recognises their continuing connection
to land, waters and community. She pays her respects to them and their cultures; and to Elders both past and present.
